Morocco: Marrakech & Essouira - Photoessay

With Scotland's weather being ridiculous at this time of year, especially the long dark days, I keep on thinking back to a warmer time. Back in August I went for an 11 day trip to Morocco. We mostly hung out with baby peacocks in Al Haouz, about half an hour from Marrakech. In the middle of no where. We also took a trip to Essaouira, a bloody lovely beach town / harbour. And went for look in Souks of Marrakech. I wanted to go into the Sahara but I was told in no uncertain terms that that's foolish in August. "Too many snakes.". Grab a mint tea and have a gander at these.

Thanks for checking out the pics. My favs are the ones of the fishermen. If you have any cool photos of trips to that part of the world, please share a link in the comments, or get me on instagram or twitter @andysr_eu.

Peace,
