Textile panels hand woven with telecom cables.

I make textiles by hand, using a traditional loom. The process demands passion, dedication and skill. Several hours produce only a few inches of fabric.

Key to my work is weaving with non traditional materials. I’ve just finished a collection of framed panels using reclaimed telecom cables as yarn.

These contemporary materials don't behave well in front of traditional craftsmanship. The argument they have produces contrasts in texture, scale and weights of fabric.

I scrutinise our refuse, and ask how better we can use it. My fabrics consider the impact we have on our surroundings that cannot be undone.

Panels can be produced at scales suitable for ambitious architecture and interior design projects.
